How Does the University and Master’s Degree Process Work in Europe?

Students who decide to pursue a university or master’s degree education in Europe first contact us to initiate the process. At this stage, we obtain detailed information about the country, university, and department the student wishes to study in. Based on the student’s goals, budget, and academic background, we present the most logical and suitable university options. The final decision always belongs to the student.

Once the university and department selection is finalized, the required application documents are requested from the student. These documents are compiled into a complete file and submitted to us. At the time of submission, the file processing fee and the university registration fee (which may vary depending on the year and the university) are collected, and the official enrollment process begins.

After the registration procedures are completed, the application result from the university is typically received within approximately 35 days. If the result is positive, the tuition fee is paid and the file is submitted to the relevant ministry. The file undergoes a detailed review process at the ministry, which usually takes around 60 days and results in either approval or rejection. To date, none of the students we have advised have received a rejection. In the event of a negative outcome, a new university enrollment is arranged for the student without requesting any additional fees.

Following ministerial approval, the student’s accommodation process is organized by us. Depending on the student’s preference, dormitory or apartment rental options are offered, and a lease agreement is prepared. At this stage, the remaining required documents are completed, and the file is forwarded to our team in Turkey for the visa application process. Our team in Turkey carefully reviews the file and obtains any additional documents required for the visa by coordinating directly with the student.

The visa process generally takes around 35 days, depending on the workload of the consulate in Turkey. On the appointment date, the student personally attends the consulate. Once the visa is approved, the student travels to the country of study and is welcomed by our local team. One-on-one support is provided throughout the entire process, including university registration procedures, interpretation services, and transportation.

After completing the university registration, an application for the residence permit is submitted. The residence card is typically issued within approximately 15 days from the application date. Following this, the student begins their education. The first year generally consists of language preparation courses. Once sufficient language proficiency is achieved, the student can continue their education in the desired department without any additional entrance exams. In general, B1–B2 level language proficiency is required, and universities tend to be flexible in this regard. Education can be conducted in English or in the local language of the country where the education is provided.

After graduation, students are awarded a Blue Diploma that is recognized throughout Europe. With this diploma, graduates can work in different European countries without the need for an equivalency process, subject only to language proficiency requirements. Upon completion of education, and provided that certain legal conditions and criteria are met, it is also possible to obtain long-term residence and, eventually, citizenship rights.

In addition, some universities offer the opportunity to complete the final year of education in the United States. This allows students to complete part of their academic career in the U.S. and strengthen their CVs on an international level.

For any questions regarding the education process in Europe, you may contact us at any time. We provide secure and transparent consulting services, ensuring that our students are fully supported at every stage of the process.
